In 1981, Lorenz Bohle started his venture into “independence” with the tablet checker KA. Soon thereafter, lifting columns and containers supplemented the supply range. The Selling of the first container mixer in 1987 heralded the beginning of a great success story. To date, 1,500 container blenders PM have been sold. Containers ranging in size between 2 and 15,000 liters enjoy great popularity among our customers. |

In 1991 the first single pot granulator (VMA) was sold; this laid the foundation for the BOHLE process technology. Even the first VMA featured microwave drying.
Coating technology commenced in 1998 with a 70 kg coater that was still equipped with a drum replacement. In 2000 BOHLE presented the first 200 kg coater with CIP equipment and a long cylindrical drum.
